Yeah, I know, I really suck at this blogging thing. I did well for a while….. Besides this time I have an excuse. Drum roll please…..

I’m pregnant! 8 weeks and 4 days pregnant to be exact. Bring on the baby knitting.

Honestly between the nausea and exhaustion, I’ve hardly knit anything at all. Usually evening times are my regular knitting times, but my body has magically morphed my bedtime from about midnight to 9 pm. And that was apparently when I did most of my knitting. I have been making slow progress on another pair of Charade socks, but that’s about it. Most evenings, if I have the energy, I read one of the many pregnancy books/magazines that seem to have found their way into my home (mostly lent to me by other moms). My energy will supposedly pick back up by my second trimester, so hopefully I will start knitting like a fiend again soon. Plus, once I know the sex of the baby, I think I will be a lot more inspired to knit baby things.

I know I keep promising pictures of my finished projects, but I just can’t seem to make myself model wool gloves or socks when its 5 billion degrees outside. Maybe I can find a nice lit spot in my house to model them.

That’s about it. If I’m quiet for long periods of time, just know its because I’m fast asleep on the couch.
